Cleaning the oven every day

There is a story about a young man going to college and having to cook his food.

The oven was a particular challenge: Cleaning the whole oven after each use was getting to him.

Because you see, this young man did not put the food into dishes and then into the oven. He put the food straight onto the rack and cooked it from there.

He did not know better. He never learned better.

It is a either a funny story or a tragic one.
