Comfort in repetition
The first time is hard and uncertain. Dredges up all the insecurities and then the triggers of past failures in other contexts.
We know this, we tell kids this. We bolster them when they fail, tell them it will get better. In no time they will be able to balance, and steer, and pedal that bicycle.
We don't do this for ourselves.
The first time is almost always hard. We forget that by the next, first time.
In no time, we will be able to balance all the new variables. Be able to navigate it and go further with ease.
Just got to remember: There is comfort in repetition.
