Constant, small invitations to drama

Drama is an addiction.

Unknowingly using another to process our hurt never satisfies. So we keep on going back. Hoping that this time, it will feel different. It will feel less sore, more… resolved.

To feed this addiction, we offer constant, small, invitations to drama.

The way we pre-answer a question while asking it.
The way we submit to another. So that later we can rebel.
The way we pause mid-sentence, waiting to be rescued.

Those constant invitations distracts from our own unprocessed hurt.

We enter into this drama dance willingly, gladly accepting the invitation to shift our hurt onto another, again.
