In myself and groups I facilitate: I judge the intensity of energy. Instead of what the energy is.
"Lots of/not enough" instead of "good/bad/negative/positive/angry/happy/sad".
The what is not a useful judgement, there is not a lot I can do once I've made it. So I am sad. Ok, now what?
Judging the quality and the intensity of the energy allows me to transform it into something else. High energy can shift. Low energy will stay wherever it is.
So in myself and groups: First, I raise the energy.
