As a culture addicted to climax we seek That Moment in which change happens. And a part of us do not believe that change can occur without a big fanfare and a marked watershed.
Change like that does happen, and it is by definition destructive.
There is a different way to change: Gently, softly, shifting into a new way of being. It is barely noticeable to anyone else.
And change is about you, not others.
