Not about the end

Handmade pasta and sauce is a laborious and long process.

Shaping every individual noodle to hold the sauce well. Sauce that cooks for hours. All of it to then be eaten in mere minutes, not letting it get cold.

If eating it was the only outcome it would not be worth all the effort.

What makes it worth it, is having a mindful activity with loved ones while enjoying the skill and attention of making good food.
