She messages from the airport asking if I am available when she lands. A late dinner as is our habit, with another ritual attached:
"Let me see your photos".
With our photo rolls filled with what wanted our attention, we catch up. The joy of trusting a friend freely with your photos is unique.
She helps me see what has my visual attention.
And that helps me realise what is not being photographed — the rest of life that has my attention while I do not want to let it be so.
