The hard work of honouring our thoughts

Jerry Weinberg wrote a book on writing books.

In it he described the lengths one must (must) go through to capture an idea and a thought. Ultimately, a thought has to be externalised and written down within five seconds, lest it escapes us.

Technology has made this practically possible and easy. Socially: That is the hard one.

Do we honour our thoughts and ourselves enough to contract with everyone around us? To tell everyone that yes, we will pause any and all conversations to make a quick note?

That is the hard work.
