Write stuff down

This is what solid, good, simple advice gets: A nod. And then it gets to be forgotten.

This is advice I received multiple times from many people I respect:

Write. Stuff. Down.

Then I would nod and not do it. Writing stuff down is effort. And the value is not immediate.

So I started with making lists.

Lists of people I want to talk to again.
Courses I want to do.
Books I want to read.
Food I want to make.
And forgot them.

Now I keep on being delighted when I go back to those lists and find that I have done so many things on them.

Writing stuff down makes stuff happen. It is that simple.
