Befriending the nervous system

Emotions do not exist. Emotions cannot be measured, isolated, or observed.

All that physically exists is a nervous system with two subsystems that gets activated to varying degrees.

The most grounded and balanced people know this. They use language like "activated", "shook", "racing", "settled", and "calm".

Direct language.
Language directly aware of where the physical nervous system is at.

Language that strips away the layers of meaning-making, and befriends the nervous system as it is.
