For every perspective and stance you want to take, there is an associated state of being to take in.
A state that contains a set of beliefs, and values. And a set of feelings and experiences.
That is a lot. That takes energy.
Our brains are designed to be lazy and to take shortcuts. Designed to jump to the prejudice.
When I find it easy to put myself in another's shoes, I am certain of only one thing:
Those are not their shoes. These are still my shoes, and my brain found a new way to fool me.
